Quality of care at RHH is fantastic. Staff are very empathetic and kind. There is a good range of activities/groups provided. All staff are person-centered in their approach and go the extra mile for their residents. Good Dementia awareness demonstrated. Good liaison with family/relatives, keeping them involved in care plans. RHH an example of fantastic dementia-friendly care.

My wife enjoyed the excellent care of your using home until she passed away on 22nd August. I am writing on behalf of J and her family to thank you for the excellent care that she received the team were all exemplary and I shall never forget the kindness and help we were given.
The home has a feeling and ambience of being a home, which was important coupled with long and very experienced expertise in the management of dementia. It was friendly and warm and my sister in law and I came to regard Sandra and Lorraine and their staff as friends. ‘

My sister and I would like to formally thank you and your entire team for taking very good care of mum during her brief stay at Highbury Rise. From the very first day that mum arrived at Highbury to her last day the care provided was faultless. Whenever we called to see how mum was we always got an answer,we never had to be put on hold and never had someone saying that they would call back. We always had the reassurance that mum was in good hands. We were always kept well informed when mum was having a bad day too. Whenever we visited we were always made to feel at home and of course we always had a cup of tea. Care homes have had a lot of bad press which tends to put places like Highbury Rise in the shadows and in our opinion Highbury is and should be a shinning example of what good care can be. It might not be the newest or the most modern care home but the things that make a difference to the resident can’t be found in the paintwork or the way the building looks but can be found in the people who work there. Shortly before mum passed away we asked her is she content and happy, she looked up for a few seconds and said “Yes i am”. We could not have asked for more. So, a great BIG thank you to you and your wonderful team at Highbury. Many thanks R & S’
